开头先问你一句:
你是不是一看到“yesterday”“last week”就下意识想填过去式,结果突然卡住——到底该用was还是were?动词后面加ed还是改y为ied?
别急,这太正常了!我教过30+个辽宁六年级孩子,90%的人第一次学一般过去时,都在这两个地方反复踩坑:
- be动词的过去式(was/were)用混
- 实义动词变过去式规则记不牢,尤其遇到play→played、study→studied、go→went这种“不讲理”的情况
今天这篇,就是专门为你拆开揉碎讲清楚的。不是罗列规则,而是从你实际写作业、做题、听录音时的真实困惑出发,一句一句带你看懂。
什么是“一般过去时”?先说人话版定义
它就是用来描述已经发生、并且彻底结束的事。时间像一辆开走的公交车——车走了,事也完了。
比如:
? I played basketball yesterday.(昨天打的,现在不打了)
? She was happy at the party.(派对结束了,当时开心)
? I am watched TV last night.(错!am是现在时,不能和last night搭配)
> ? 小提醒:只要句子里出现 yesterday / last weekend / in 2020 / just now 这类明确的“过去时间词”,十有八九就要用一般过去时!
be动词过去式:was 和 were,怎么选?看主语!
这不是靠感觉,是有硬标准的——数+人称决定一切:

- There was / There were:单数用was,复数用were
→ There was a cat under the desk.(一只猫)
→ There were three books on the shelf.(三本书)
→ Was she at home? Yes, she was.
→ They were not (weren’t) tired.
实义动词过去式:不是所有词都乖乖加-ed!
这里分三类,咱们一个一个捋:
# ? 规则动词:加-ed,但读音分三种!
很多孩子写对了,读错了,听力就丢分。
- /t/ 音:work → worked(/w??rkt/),结尾是清辅音(p, k, f, s, sh, ch)
- /d/ 音:play → played(/ple?d/),结尾是浊辅音或元音(b, g, l, m, n, r, v, w, y, z)
- /?d/ 学习资料下载 www.esoua.com 音:want → wanted(/?w?nt?d/),结尾是/t/ 或 /d/(这类最少,但必须记住!)
# ? 不规则动词:得背,但可以“抓大放小”
六年级课本高频不规则动词其实就12个左右,建议优先掌握:
- go → went
- have → had
- do → did
- see → saw
- come → came
- get → got
- give → gave
- take → took
- say → said
- make → made
- think → thought
- tell → told
> ?? 我的小经验:别死背!每天抄3个+造1个句子,坚持两周比突击一晚管用。比如今天抄“see→saw”,就写:I saw a red bird on the tree this morning. ——有画面,记得牢。
# ? 动词原形变过去式常见变形规律(帮你减轻记忆负担)
- 以“辅音字母+y”结尾 → 变y为i + ed:study → studied;carry → carried
- 重读闭音节末尾一个辅音字母 → 双写+ed:stop → stopped;plan → planned
- 以e结尾 → 直接+ d:live → lived;hope → hoped

> Last Sunday, my father and I ______ (go) to the zoo. He ______ (take) many photos, but I ______ (not like) the monkey show.
答案:
- went(go的不规则过去式)
- took(take→took)
- didn’t like(注意:实义动词否定用did not + 动词原形!不是didn’t liked!)
这个空,全班42人,17人栽在最后一个空——忘了“助动词did后必须跟原形”这个铁律。所以记住:
? didn’t / didn’t / didn’t → 后面永远是原形!
? didn’t liked / wasn’t played / weren’t went → 全错!
最后说点心里话
语法不是用来默写的,是帮你把想说的话,说得准确、听得明白的工具。我在沈阳陪练过一个孩子,刚开始总把“I was play football”当正确句,后来我们不讲规则,就每天一起听5分钟英文小故事,听到“he kicked the ball”就暂停,问他:“这句话里谁干的?什么时候干的?动词怎么变的?”——三个月后,他主动说:“老师,我好像‘听’出过去式了。”
所以别怕错,错是大脑在建立连接的声音。你现在翻回去看第一段的问题:“was/were怎么选?”“动词怎么变?”——答案其实已经藏在上面每个例子里了。
